Class A Foam Agents
Foam concentrates to combat Class A combustible material fires.
Class A foams are well-suited for response firefighting of structural, wildland, and industrial fires that involve ordinary combustible materials such as wood, paper, coal, rubber, and plastic. They are formulated to reduce the surface tension of water to provide superior wetting and penetrating characteristics, while also creating a dense foam blanket that provides an insulating barrier between the fuel and the air.
Features
- Effective on many deep-seated Class A fires such as tire fires, paper fires, coal fires, structure fires, and wild fires.
- Reduces surface tension of water, which provides enhanced wetting and penetration characteristics.
- Foam solution creates a dense foam blanket with excellent insulating properties that also clings to vertical surfaces for structure protection,.
- Concentrates with proportioning ranges from 0.1 to 1% for Class A firefighting.
Benefits
US Forest Service approved foam concentrates for wildland firefighting.
Broad portfolio of Class A products for municipal, wildland, and CAFS applications with various proportioning ranges from 0.1 to 2%.
Expert formulation and tight quality control deliver a consistent performing foam for fire and vapor suppression.
