Non-Fluorinated AR-SFFF Foam Agents
Non-fluorinated, alcohol resistant foam concentrates for use on both hydrocarbon and polar solvent flammable liquids.
Alcohol Resistant Synthetic Fluorine Free Foam (AR-SFFF) Concentrates are non-fluorinated foam formulations designed for use on Class B flammable liquid fires. AR-SFFFs provide effective fire and vapor suppression for both hydrocarbon and polar solvents fuel fires. AR-SFFF products may be proportioned and discharged with a wide range of conventional foam equipment in both fixed system and response applications
Features
- Suited for use on class B hydrocarbon fuel fires such as oil, petroleum, gasoline, benzene, and aviation fuels.
- Robust foam blanket has extended drain times to help block oxygen to the fuel and suppress fuel vapor.
- Water content of the foam solution produces a cooling effect for additional fire suppression.
- Suited for use on class B polar solvent fuel fires such as alcohols and ketones.
- On polar solvent fires, liquid drains from the foam blanket and forms a polymeric membrane which protects the foam from destruction by the polar fuel, suppresses vapors, and seals the fuel surface.
Benefits
Non-fluorinated foam formulations.
The firefighting properties of an AR-SFFF provide for fast control and suppression of both hydrocarbon and polar solvent fuel fires and vapors.
AR-SFFFs may be applied in either a fixed system or mobile response foam equipment. These concentrates may be proportioned, discharged, and applied with most conventional foam hardware.
AR-SFFF concentrates produce an effective, high-quality firefighting foam at low expansion ratios. These foams have excellent throw properties, inhibited fuel pick-up, and a robust foam blanket to aid first responders in fighting large-scale fires.
Expert formulation and tight quality control deliver a consistent performing foam for fire and vapor suppression.
